SCAM ALERT: Do Not Pay Callers Who Threaten to Arrest You Unless You Pay
Residents of the Northern District of Georgia continue to receive fraudulent phone calls claiming that the victim failed to appear for jury duty in federal court and/or has an arrest warrant or similar adverse situation. The scammer tells the victim that he or she can avoid arrest or other negative consequences by making a payment, which may include purchasing a pre-paid card—such as a Green Dot card or gift card—and then giving the card number to the scammer. Parking for Jurors

Parking is available for jurors at each divisional courthouse. Select the division name from the menu on the left of this screen for detailed driving directions.

At the Atlanta division courthouse only, jurors must bring their license plate number with them into the courthouse to validate their parking.  Failure to follow the instructions provided in the jury summons letter and during juror orientation may result in the vehicle being booted.

No validation is needed to park free of charge in the Gainesville, Newnan, and Rome divisions.
