CM/ECF
Fees incurred using the electronic filing system (CM/ECF) are payable by credit card or direct debit through the pay.gov system. These include case initiating fees, appeal fees, attorney admission fees, and pro hac vice application fees.
Criminal Debt
Criminal debt is a defendant’s monetary obligation to pay special assessments, restitution, and/or fines ordered in connection with a criminal conviction.
Criminal debt must be paid using one of the following forms of payment: cash (exact change only), domestic money order, or a bank cashier’s check. Neither a credit/debit card will be accepted for criminal debt. Payment may be made in person at any one of the Court’s divisions or mailed to the following address: United States District Court, 2211 U.S. Courthouse, 75 Ted Turner Drive, SW, Atlanta, GA 30303. Please include the case number associated with the payment and the name of the defendant making the payment. Please call 404-215-1625 with questions regarding the payment of criminal debt.
Filing and Miscellaneous Fees
Domestic money orders, a bank cashier’s check, and cash (exact change only) are acceptable forms of payment for the filing and miscellaneous fees listed below. A credit/debit card will be accepted for payment, with proper identification, when the request is made in person at the public filing counter of any division. Personal and/or business checks will be accepted only from current members of the bar of this Court in good standing.
