Revisions to Local Rule 3.3, which governs the Certificate of Interested Persons and Corporate Disclosure Statement in the Northern District of Georgia, are now in effect in response to the December 1, 2022 amendments to Fed. R. Civ. P. 7.1. The new local rule is available here. Going forward, litigants should use the new form for the Certificate of Interested Persons and Corporate Disclosure Statement prescribed by LR 3.3. In addition, revisions to Local Patent Rule 6.1(a) are in effect to add a requirement that proposed term constructions include the qualifications of a person of ordinary skill in the art at the time of the invention(s) of the patent(s)-in-suit. The new rule is available here.
