The United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia has approved amendments to the Joint Preliminary Report and Discovery Plan contained in Appendix B to the Local Rules to address parties’ claims of privilege and protection of trial preparation materials in light of amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure that are slated to become effective on December 1, 2025. In addition, Local Rule 16.2, which governs the content of the JPRDP, has been revised for simplicity; and Local Rule 67.1(C), which governs registry payments, has been revised to account for electronic funds transfer.
