The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the Atlanta Chapter of the Federal Bar Association will host an all-day legal writing CLE seminar at the Richard B. Russell Federal Building & United States Courthouse on Thursday September 14, 2023. Professor Timothy P. Terrell of Emory University School of Law will lead the seminar, which is entitled, Confident, Persuasive Writing:  Rhetoric and Coherence for Judges and Litigators. Attorneys of all levels who practice together are encouraged to attend the seminar as a group to develop a common writing vocabulary. The seminar will begin at 9:00 a.m., but attendees are encouraged to arrive beginning at 8:00 a.m. to process through security and enjoy a light breakfast, which will be included along with lunch and a reception after the seminar.
