The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia has amended Local Rules 16.2 and 67.1 as well as Appendix B to the Local Rules effective December 1, 2025. 

Specifically, the Joint Preliminary Report and Discovery Plan (JPRDP) contained in Appendix B has been revised to address parties’ claims of privilege and protection of trial preparation materials in light of amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure effective on December 1, 2025. In addition, Local Rule 16.2, which governs the content of the JPRDP, has been revised for simplicity. Finally, Local Rule 67.1, which governs registry payments, has been revised to account for electronic funds transfer.
