Court to Host a Free One-Hour Professionalism CLE Program

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the Atlanta Chapter of the Federal Bar Association will host a free, one-hour professionalism CLE on Wednesday August 30 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Richard B. Russell Federal Building and United States Courthouse. The program will explore the application, in the domestic violence / pro bono setting, of the two central statements on professionalism in Georgia:  “A Lawyer's Creed” and “The Aspirational Statement on Professionalism.” Panel members will include Eleventh Circuit Judge Jill Pryor, U.S. Magistrate Judge Catherine Salinas, and Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network Executive Director Alpa Amin, with opening remarks by U.S. District Judge Steve C. Jones.
