The United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia is pleased to announce that it has selected Magistrate Judge Russell G. Vineyard to serve as the court’s next chief magistrate judge. Judge Vineyard will begin his term as chief on April 2, 2022, following the retirement of current Chief Magistrate Judge Alan J. Baverman. Judge Vineyard has served as a magistrate judge since 2006.
