Court to Host Free Professionalism CLE Program with Federal Judges on September 1

The United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the Atlanta Chapter of the Federal Bar Association will host a free, one-hour professionalism CLE on Thursday, September 1, from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. at the Richard B. Russell Federal Building and United States Courthouse. The program will explore the application, in the domestic violence / pro bono setting, of the two central statements on professionalism in Georgia:  “A Lawyer's Creed” and “The Aspirational Statement on Professionalism.” Panel members will include Eleventh Circuit Judge Jill Pryor, U.S. Magistrate Judge Catherine Salinas and Georgia Legal Services Executive Director Susan Coppedge, with opening remarks by Chief U.S. District Judge Timothy Batten.
