Entry Restrictions and Requirement to Wear Face Coverings in Northern District Courthouses Now in Effect

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia has entered General Order 20-08, which requires all employees, visitors, and contractors entering the United States courthouses in Atlanta, Gainesville, Newnan, and Rome to review posted screening questions and not enter the courthouse if they answer yes to any of them. General Order 20-08 further requires all employees, visitors, and contractors (unless under the age of two) to wear a face covering or mask that completely covers the nose and mouth at all times while in public areas of the courthouse and to observe social distancing.
