Basic Requirements for CM/ECF

• Attorneys must be admitted to practice in the District, or admitted pro hac vice
• Before filing electronically, attorneys must register with the court to receive a login and password.
• CM/ECF is an internet browser based application. CM/ECF has been tested with Internet Explorer, Mozilla FireFox, and Safari. Other browsers such as Chrome have not been tested.
• In order to file electronically, you will need the capability to create a PDF file as all filings must be submitted in PDF format.
• An active PACER account is required to access any dockets or documents which you have not received a free look with a Notice of Electronic Filing (NEF).
